Hello everyone. I have just signed on to Mysterious Britain. I am excited to chat with you all. I currently live in Norman, Oklahoma USA. I am a Master of Fine Arts graduate student in costume design. The main reason why I signed onto this forum is to gain knowledge on some Scottish, Irish, and Celtic Mythological creatures. I have started working on my thesis, which is not due for 2 years but the class I am now wants us to create a annotated bibliography for the thesis. I thought if I ...

That being said, I don't dub every light in the sky a UFO and do not get frightened in dark graveyards, for some reason, although the last time, I tried awfully hard d;-). I was raised by a Welsh family who took such things as ghosts calmly and had had experiences of the * paranormal ...

Hi,

Just a quick intro as I recently posted a couple of things on the forum.

I'm a writer, tour guide, philosopher and general layabout based in London. With an active interest in forteana, folklore, the occult and assorted weirdness.

I organise wyrd walks in London when weather permits, write about occultural and folklorish subjects for various magazines, including the Fortean Times. I also occassionally teach philosophy which keeps food on my table.

Am enjoying the breadth of ...

Only seen one ghost that I know of but always hopeful of seeing more. I did one of the Dover Castle Ghost Walks with a friend and took loads of photos. Although we didn't see anything at the time, when the photos were developed there is a mysterious cloud on several of the ones taken in the reputedly haunted rooms (repeater station etc).
