Not sure if this should have been posted in Myths and Legends.

Anyway, earlier on i was sat in this room looking out of the window looking at Crows, and remembered something about Crows courts, where crows gather in a field in a circular fashion with one crow in the middle seeming to take some kind of judgement. The judgement either being flying off free or being pecked to death by its fellows. Anyone else heard of or actually witnessed this ? And is there any other animal apart from humans ...

The 12-metre catamaran, the Kaz II, was discovered with no crew off the coast of northeast Australia in April 2007. The yacht which had left on Sunday 15 April, was spotted about 80 nautical miles close to the outer Great Barrier Reef on the following Wednesday. When it was boarded on Friday, the engine and a laptop was running, the radio and GPS were working and dinner was ready to eat, but the three man crew were nowhere to be seen. All the sails were up, but one was badly damaged. Survival ...

I'd like write a few lines about this colorful character, now often forgotten, and hear if you know more about her and her antics.

Joanna Southcott was born in 1750 in Gittisham, Devonshire, in a farming community. Her parents were members of the Methodist Church.

She was a deeply religious chracter and had her first "mystical" experience at around seventeen. She was praying besides the deathbed of a fellow villager when the man rose and started screaming about "hellhounds" ...

There seems to be quite a few theories and mysteries involving the Knights Templars. These seem to revolve around missing treasure, secret artifacts in their possession (such as the Ark of the Covenant) and whether or not they still survive in one form or another today. Is it just a lot of people grasping for straws and making and linking unrelated events or is there something to what is being speculated? What do you think? Are there really any Templar Mysteries?

I read Mothman prophecies again by John Keel - always worth a read - and noted his intrigue at the increasing coincidences once he started to research paranormal events - similar names and dates cropped up, and strange events had a habit of happening in multiples.

I read Charles Fort's Wild Talents - coincidences of fires in houses, deaths of animals and missing people - and in the news similar events happen. Many coincidences can occur and patterns seen in random events - Has anyone here ...

I know I am uncovering a very controversial subject here but what are your views on the matter?

I must say that I have more than a passing interest into it because a distant relative from my mother's side of the family was a Capuchin monk, a Roman Catholic priest and a fully ordained (meaning officially sanctioned) exorcist. I have very few stories of interest about him because "official" (ie authorized by the ecclesiastic hierarchy) exorcisms are almost invariably shrouded in the ...

I have stumbled across this funny piece on the recent and much-publicized aircraft accident over the Philippines: http://theparanormalpastor.blogspot.com/2008/07/gremlins-on-attack.html .

As you know my father is a retired civilian pilot so I am pretty familiar with the whole "gremlin" thing: of course he never met these malicious creatures in person but it's sort of "common knowledge" in the field. I saw the funny side of it but was shocked that somebody would have such little regard for one of Britains iconic images and a site of such historical importance.

Pagans were apparently in uproar threatening rain magic to wash Homer away.

As a matter of interest has anyone else experienced any form of telepathy with anyone close to them? When working in my last job my two colleagues and I used to be totally on the same wave length, we knew what each other was thinking a lot of the time. If I was thinking about a certain topic, they would often start talking about what I was thinking.

My husband and I "suffer" from the same thing - we often say exactly the same thing at the same time quite out of the blue.

Odd Symbols in the US
