Its a proper mixed bag down here, blazing hot sunshine one min and heavy rain the next. The wife and i went up to a place called boundry mills at the end of the M65 at Colne earlier, on the way back we were down to 40mph on the motorway because the rain was so hard we couldnt see the car in front even with the wipers on double, then a few mins later sunny and dry. I hate it when its like this, just give us a bloody great big thunderstorm and be done with it.

Looks like my wishes for a thunderstorm are going to be granted very soon, looking out of the window towards manchester is the biggest blackest cloud ive seen for ages pushing rain right towards us Smile .......ooooo lightning, long way off though, not heard the thunder yet.

Sunshine, not on your nelly guv, i love a good thunderstorm Smile

looks like the main bit of the storm passed us by quite a few miles away, but we're getting some heavyish rain right now. I'm now dissapointed, even this heavy shower has moved on, do i smell or something ?

I tried to take some pics of the far off lightning, looked out of the viewfinder for a split second and missed the last one Sad

i might be in luck, just had a big flash and thunder about 3 secs after.

Your lucky Wombat, wish mine were the same, and if I don't take them, it prays on my conscience, with there sad faces in front of me, afraid mine are creatures of habit no matter what the weather is. Smile
