| Any interest in something about the Biddenden Maids? Not exactly supernatural but very intruiging nonetheless... _________________ Fas: Ite, Maledicti, In Ignem Aeternum.

| Absolutely Mauro, siamese twins from medieval Kent. I think they would git nicely in. I'm thinking of looking at Eleanor Cobham, Duchess of Glouscester and maybe Margery Jourdain, Witch of Eye. |

| I have some older pieces (that may need tweaking) on the Manx Gef the Mongoose and the Fairy Boy of Leith (trying keeping a straight face when telling people about that one) which you're welcome to use if they're of interest? |

| Welcome to the forum Agricola Any articles you wish to submit to Mysteriousbritain would be very appreciated. We are hopng to add the Isle of Man to our gazateer soon so an article on Gef would fit in nicely. Not familiar with the Fairy Boy of Leith but I look forward to reading about it. You can e-mail your articles to info@mysteriousbritain.co.uk. Thanks again for the offer. |

| Ian, a work mate recently went to a place called Lud's Church, Its a natural chasm in the peak district. He showed me some photo's he'd took and told me there was a King Arthur legend attached it it but couldnt remember what. I looked at the pics and straight away thought of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. He said that sounded familiar so at lunchtime i nipped on the net and googled it. Sure enough Sir Gawain was supposed to have faced the Green Knight for the second time (first being at camalot) at Luds Church. But further investigations revealed that Frier Tuck was supposed to have performed religious ceremonys there for Robin and his men see link http://www.robinhoodloxley.net/mycustompage0045.htm scroll to bottom of page. There is also a reference to a 15th Century religious reformation group called the Lollards that met there in secret Lollard tale here http://www.cheshireghostsandhauntings.org.uk/Staffordshire%20Ghosts%20and%20Hauntings/Staffordshire.htmlNearby is a pool called Doxey Pool which has a mermaid legend attached to it. When i saw his pic of this place it sort of reminded me of Dozemary Pool in Cornwall. Now the only problem with adding this to the main site is its in Staffs, and Staffs isnt up, maybe put it in as a featured site ? his pics are very good. |

| It all sounds really good Lee. We can put it up a featured site and also it can go straight into the gazetteer on the new version of the site. _________________ "Sometimes I just sit and think, and sometimes I just sit".
