Well said Angel. I cannot believe Dan could be so foul mouthed. Just because he created and runs Mysteriousbritain does not mean he can sully this forum with his crude language even though it was a joke. Shocked Embarassed

I think the forum is currently on the right track and should remain about subjects that are relevant to the site, which is quite a wide range in itself.

I second that statement dan. With the exception of my earlier post about expanding catagories.

On some forums you get ranks. We've avoided up until now, but is it something you'd want to see? Could I be Ghost Finder General?

NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! SadSadSad

Not that it will be a problem here, but my experience with ranks and post counts tends to be that you get people trying to push their post counts and ranks by spamming. Or people with high post counts feeling they contribute more to the forum and look down on those with fewer posts as "n00bs".

Having said that, MB has so far been fine, with mature and adult contributers (well.... apart from myself probably hehe), probably wouldn't be a problem here. It's just that I don't really see much point in ranks.

Sorry for my Darth Vadery "no" there. Laughing I'm just not really a fan. a tagline or "rank" type thing where you can personalise it and have your own title, now that's cool Smile

On some forums you can add some personal text underneath your username in the left hand side column as well as a signature at the bottom

I agree with Urisk that it can cause problems if people are trying to reach the next level by adding rubbish.

I'm not keen on Karma on forums either

Cryptozoology

Science and Skepticism

NDE's & OBE's

and also Links and Reference section

All suggestions and ideas as always welcome Smile
