| I quite like the colour scheme, I like the blue border that matches the main website logo, and the fact that you can actually read the text on the page - some forums end up trying to look really pretty using dark backgrounds but they are so hard on your eyes. At least you can see what your reading on this without needing a break every 30seconds lol
What sort of topics would you like to see on here Angel? |

| We tried to keep the look of it as close to the main website as possible, but hopefully that will have a bit of a facelift when we introduce a new management system. I do think as we expand the number and types of threads we should look at new catagories being introduced to make the forum easier to navigate.
All suggestions welcome. |

| I actually quite like the forum...
Will have a think though. Just as long as it doesn't end up like unexplained-mysteries I'll be happy.
I would suggest a Cthulhu area... but then that's just me, I'd probably be the only on in there _________________ Seek for answers in the mundane, with hope for answers in the fantastic

| This forum is spot on, easy to navigate and straightforward. No need for any change in my opinion. With the exception of expanding to make more catagories as people request them.
Just my 2p's worth.

| | I think 'Other Mysteries' could be spilt up into a few other catagories. We have some good Cryptozoology posts now and I dare say a few more topics we can introduce, just to make it easier for people to find the subjects they want and know where they can post. |

| | Lets have a list of catagories you would all like to see and we'll sort it out. Don't top though, a lot of empty topis wouldn't look good. |

| Cryptozoology would certainly be a rather nice topic to include. What about Natural World as well? Bearing in mind that nature itself is just as mysterious as any "supernatural" subject. Could discuss everything from dinos to alien invasive species to weather phenomena?
A "Places of Interest" category? Various threads being parts of UK and Ireland- I know this is already on the main site so to speak, but some of the "sites" are unfinished, and this would certainly help- especially with local lore. And as you guys know, I've got a fair few places for up my way!
TV, Movie and Books (videogames?)? Personally I'm happy with General Chat, but it being segregated further might help other users a bit. I don't know.
"The net is vast and infinite..." (sorry, pitiful Ghost in the Shell reference there)- the weird and wonderful World Wide Wibble?
As I say, these are just suggestions. Just trying to draw upon some experience of other forums I've been to in the past. On one forum, and Tris and Spook (if they ever show up again) will be able to testify, there is a Take It Outside forum, where anything goes- political, religious and other heated debates go on. While very interesting seeing everyone's views and (often strong) opinions, it can escalate quickly into verbal bloodbaths. There is a warning for easily offended to stay away from this forum however, and generally the hositlity isn't personal attacks. I wouldn't recommend one of these forums to this place. mainly because thus far everyone has been very polite, mature and considerate and there really is no need (politics and religion has not been discussed thus far, and I hope that it stays that way given what inevitably happens) in such a peacful and, well... nice, online community but it's just something else I thought I'd make aware.
Keep up the good work. So far this place has been a pleasure to come to. _________________ Seek for answers in the mundane, with hope for answers in the fantastic

"And so say we all!" Battlestar Galactica quote .
Good suggestions Urisk. I have heard of one of these 'Take It Outside' topics and your right I don't think we need one. The paranormal subject tends to get very tightly entwined with belief and sometimes religious beliefs. As long as everyone acts maturely and respects each others views and belief systems I don't think we'll have a problem. |

| I think the forum is currently on the right track and should remain about subjects that are relevant to the site, which is quite a wide range in itself.
I don't think we need a Take It Outside topic, and this is not the place to batter each other about the head with personal belief, politics and religion, although there is nothing like a good debate (with mutual respect) if you don't agree you can F*** Off
As Urisk mentioned I am sure we all have varied interests, my interest in mysteries has always been linked to nature and the landscape and the rich diversity of legend and folklore in Britain. Probably stemming from my early teens exploring the Pennines and finding a whole wealth of tradition intertwined with landscape. But I also play in a band, hike/wild camp and run (if there is a pub after the finish line) but that is for discussion elsewhere.
The forum is quite a late development for this site, we did toy with the idea 7 years ago when I launched the site, but I think it was worth the wait with the quality of posts we have had so far.

| I think it would totally ruin it if a Take It Outside type topic was introduced. I love the fact that people are so supportive/understanding/*whatever the word I am looking for* on here.
People have differences of opinion but so far no one is thrusting any views or beliefs down anyone elses throats and no one is saying that you're totally wrong/mad/stupid for thinking different things to me which is one of the many things I like about it. |
