I was shocked to find a mention of a cursed model ship whilst trawling the net about information on haunted pubs. Check this out:

I can't believe that three people have actually died because of this, it's obviously some sort of modern myth.

Back in college I had friends who practiced a variation on Wicca and i remember lengthy conversations about an item which had previously been used to cleanse negative energy which had now turned upon them and become a source of negative energy. I didn't follow most of it, but they all seemed quite sure.

Some objects do seem to accumulate an unusual number of
unfortunate or just plain odd things.



I'm put in mind of a piece of trench art depicting the angel of death and
carved from human bones that was found near Petersburg, Virginia.
So far, all known owners of it have died under unusual circumstances and the
item itself has now vanished after the last owner was murdered in New Orleans. I saw the thing once before it vanished and must say, there was someting very 'wrong' about it for lack of a better word.
