I hope you can see the strange light at the top middle of the picture, it seems to bend before bouncing of the bridge and then dive toward the pond water which has Koi carp in it.
No Koi were hurt or killed.
This is one of many photo's I took last summer in the gerden with a Fugi MX 100 Digital camera.
Dose anyone have any idea as to what this might be ?

You used flash on this photo. The white line is out of focus and over-exposed by the camera flash. It is, therefore, small and close to the camera rather than on the bridge. It could be a strand of hair, a camera strap, bit of spider's web, etc.

If I had used a flash, the side of the bridge would not be in shade, also you can see a shadow under the drill on the bridge so no flash was used !
I have short hair, there were no cobwebs and it was'nt the strap which was round my neck everytime I use the camera.
There are at least two other photos taken at that time and any shadows are the same because there was no flash.

Zoom in to 400% and you will see that the light is no more hazy than it's surroundings !!!

Gardener, on examining the image, MS is incorrect.

However: looking at it I suspect something crossed the frame as you took the picture. the end of a small branch, or an insect. Notice that whatever it is is out of focus and so is nearer to you then the area the camera is focused on. Since the light has no reflection in the pond, it's not actually on the bridge. So therefor it's something that passed just into the frame at the moment of capture.
